Yeti X 230W Power Supply: Powers, Setup and Compatibility

Start with the station, not the cable

The Yeti X 230W Power Supply is a fast-charging AC adapter for Yeti X power stations 1000X and larger. Before you plug anything in, confirm your station is on that list. The supply is not compatible with Yeti Lead Acid, Yeti Lithium, or the Yeti 200X/500X Power Stations. If you own a 200X or 500X, this adapter is the wrong part, no matter how the plug looks.

For compatible stations, the 230W supply does two jobs: it charges a 1000X, 1000 Core or 1500X faster than the standard adapter, and it serves as the replacement power supply for the Yeti 3000X.

Which Yeti X stations this supply fits

• Yeti X 230W Power Supply: Compatible with Yeti X Power Stations 1000X and larger; not compatible with Yeti Lead Acid, Yeti Lithium, or the Yeti 200X/500X Power Stations. This is the first checkpoint. If your station is a 200X or 500X, stop here and look for a different adapter.

• Yeti X 230W Power Supply: Input: AC Wall Plug 100-240V -50/60Hz; Output: HPP 19V-12.5A, 230W. The wall side accepts standard international AC voltage, and the station side uses the HPP connector at 230W.
• Yeti X 230W Power Supply: Dimensions: 2.5 x 5.9 x 1.4 in. (6.5 x 15 x 3.5 cm). A compact brick is easy to pack, but check the space around your outlet and cable route before relying on it in a tight setup.

How to connect the 230W supply

The supplied information covers the input, output, and charge times but does not include a step-by-step connection procedure. The steps below stick to what the record supports; for anything beyond that, follow the instructions that came with your Yeti X station.

1. Confirm your station model: Check that you have a Yeti 1000X, 1000 Core, 1500X, or 3000X. The supply is not compatible with the 200X or 500X.
2. Connect the HPP output to the station: The supply outputs HPP at 19V-12.5A. Use the HPP connector on your Yeti X station's charging input.
3. Plug the AC input into a wall outlet: The input accepts 100-240V at 50/60Hz, so it works with standard wall power in most regions.
4. Expect the charge time listed for your model: Yeti 1000X and 1000 Core: 4.5 hours. Yeti 1500X: 7 hours. Yeti 3000X: 14 hours. These are the supplied charge times for this supply.

Charge times by station

The same 230W supply produces different charge times depending on the station's capacity. Use this table to plan around a full charge rather than guessing.

• Yeti 1000X: 4.5 hours with the 230W supply.
• Yeti 1000 Core: 4.5 hours with the 230W supply.
• Yeti 1500X: 7 hours with the 230W supply.
• Yeti 3000X: 14 hours with the 230W supply. This supply also serves as the replacement power supply for the 3000X.

What the 230W supply does not tell you

The supplied record lists the 230W output and charge times, but it does not state how many watts your connected devices can draw from the station while charging. For run-time or output limits, check your Yeti X station's own specifications. The 230W figure describes the adapter's charging output, not the station's AC or DC output.

The record also does not include a maintenance schedule or storage temperature range for the supply. Treat it as a charging accessory and follow the station's manual for care and storage.

Buying check: price and part identity

• Yeti X 230W Power Supply: SKU: 98350; Gauge: 16AWG; Used with: Goal Zero Yeti 1000X/1500X/3000X/6000X. The SKU and used-with list help you confirm you are ordering the right replacement or upgrade supply.
• Yeti X 230W Power Supply: Catalog price: USD 62.97, compared with a catalog comparison price of USD 99.95. If you are replacing a lost or damaged supply, this is the listed price to weigh against buying a whole new station.
